Aloha, and welcome

Holistic whole family approach to birth, prenatal and postpartum health
Hello, my name is Ruth Trick, I am a DONA Trained Doula, working towards my certification, and I am so excited to get to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a birth advocate, dedicated to helping women find their voice and empowering them to make the decisions that are best for them, and their family. I believe in a family centered, holistic approach, to Doula care.
I have been a professional Doula for 6 years, and have worked with mommas, families and community units, of many different backgrounds, and cultures, I have had the privilege of working with both hospital and hospital alternative births, I am a passionate, hard working Birth companion, who believes in making Birth better through ongoing care throughout labor, laboring techniques, and emotional support.
What my clients are saying are saying
“Ruth came into my life at exactly the right time. About to go into labor at any moment, Ruth reached out to me because I didn’t have a doula and asked extremely helpful and professional questions to get to know me and my birth plan better. She’s really easygoing and concise in what she does. Most importantly, she listens. I can honestly say that I didn’t end up going to the hospital to get an epidural because of her encouragement during the labor process. And even days after I had delivered my baby girl, she offered to come spend some time with me to answer any questions and just talk; I ended up receiving so much wisdom and knowledge as a new mom about things such as breastfeeding and pumping. 5/5 recommend!
